Digital pager
A pager with no devices: the pager number on your customer's phone.
No devices to buy, charge or lose. One scan of the card gives the customer their stamp and their order number, issued automatically with nothing for the cashier to type. When it’s ready a notification appears on their lock screen, and they can open the order page so it rings for them.

What is a digital pager?
Instead of a buzzer ringing on the table, the customer’s phone is the pager. The cashier scans the loyalty card and taps «Stamp + pager», and the order number is issued automatically (from 1 every day, never repeated in the branch). The card in their Wallet shows «Your order 60 · Preparing», and the barista taps the number on their screen when it’s ready.
Customers without a card: the cashier taps «Pager without a card» and writes the number on the cup, and the customer scans the same stand code and picks their number, or scans their own code on a customer-facing display. Wallet notifications appear on the lock screen without sound; the order page rings if they tapped «Alert me with sound» and kept it open.

- 5The customer collects and matches the number on their card with the cup, and the barista taps the number again for «Collected».

Questions
Questions before you start
Does the customer need an app?
No. They scan the code with their phone camera, and their order page opens in the browser.
How does the customer know their order is ready?
Card members get a «Your order is ready» notification on their lock screen, without sound. The order page switches to «Ready», and rings if they tapped «Alert me with sound» and kept it open.
Does the cashier type the order number?
No. Numbers are issued automatically from 1 every day and never repeat in the branch. If you prefer your POS invoice number, you can have the cashier type it, in the branch settings.
Do I need special devices?
No. The cashier screen, barista station and customer display run in the browser on any phone, iPad or computer, even older ones.
Which plan includes the pager?
The digital pager is in Basic (79 SAR a month for one branch) and in Karra Plus (109 SAR), VAT included.
What's the difference between a pager number and a menu order?
The cashier issues a pager number for an order placed at the counter. A menu order is sent by the customer from their own phone (in Karra Plus) and is tracked the same way.
How long does the tracking link work?
Order links work for 24 hours, then they expire.
